Computing the Number of Failures for Fuzzy Weibull Hazard Function

The number of failures plays an important factor in the study maintenance strategy a manufacturing system. In real situation, this is often affected by some uncertainties. Many uncertainties fall into possibilistic uncertainty, which are different from probabilistic uncertainty. This uncertainty commonly modeled applying fuzzy theoretical framework. paper aims to compute for system has Weibull failure distribution with shape parameter. case two approaches used calculate number. first approach, fuzziness membership parameter propagates so that they have exactly same values membership. While second computed through ?-cut or ?-level approach computation formula failures. Without loss generality, we use Triangular Fuzzy Number (TFN) We show both methods succeeded computing under investigation. Both when consider function as time then (the fuzziness) resulting becomes larger and increases. By using method, TFN form. Meanwhile, method does not necessarily form, but TFN-like Some comparisons between these presented Generalized Mean Value Defuzzification (GMVD) method. results certain weighting GMVD, cores numbers identical.
